Cate Scott Campbell, Writer & Creator


Cate is an actress, writer, and producer who has taught math to teen girls for over a decade. Cate has written and produced videos across all platforms for clients like Disney Interactive, Tumblr, Forbes,, and the It’s On Us campaign. She created and produced the critically acclaimed short “How I Do Math,” and wrote, produced, and starred in the digital scripted series Tutored. Cate cohosts a Forbes podcast called The Limit Does Not Exist, which champions the intersection of creativity and STEM and recently hit 500K downloads. Cate has appeared on many stages and screens, including the final season of How I Met Your Mother, Tartuffe at South Coast Rep, and multiple national commercial campaigns. You can see her perform every Sunday at The Groundlings. She’s stuck on a really tough calculus problem right now, but she’s confident she’ll figure it out.

Carly Usdin, Director


Carly is an award-winning filmmaker with experience creating content of all kinds for screens of all sizes. She has created promos, music videos, short-form, branded content and events. Carly's freelance clients include Funny or Die, Vice, CollegeHumor, World of Wonder, CBS, Viacom, Fullscreen, Studio71, Portal A, Astronauts Wanted and Magical Elves. Her first feature, the no-budget indie comedy “Suicide Kale,” won the Audience Award for Best First U.S. Feature at Outfest 2016 and is currently on the festival circuit. Carly is a proud member of Film Fatales, the Alliance of Women Directors and the Academy of Magical Arts.

Robin Roemer, Director of Photography


Robin is an art director, photographer, and cinematographer, producing visuals for advertising, entertainment and editorial. Her photos of celebrities like Lady Gaga and Grace Helbig have graced the pages of national magazines and New York Times Bestsellers. Robin served as the Director of Photography on the award-winning indie feature "Suicide Kale,” and has worked with media companies like Legendary Pictures and Viacom. Robin has had the pleasure of working on national campaigns for companies like Dove and Levis, and to shoot for non-profits and initiatives such as The Black List, Save the Children, Move to End Violence, Have a Hart Day, and The Clinton Global Initiative. Her versatility and experience have enabled her to work on everything from big brand campaigns to a small web series about a tiny pineapple with googly eyes.

Alison Korth, Production Designer

Alison Korth is a production designer and art director living in Los Angeles. Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, she moved across country in 2013 to pursue her creative dreams. In her first years in LA, she was lucky to assist talented designers on projects such as the Academy Award-nominated short “Day One” and Amazon's whimsical family series Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street. Currently, Alison works on a wide variety of media content, including projects for companies like Disney, BuzzFeed, and YouTube Red. What excites Alison most about the future is getting to work on challenging projects in which she can grow her skills and creativity.

Spencer Devlin Howard, Editor


Spencer Devlin Howard is a lifelong filmmaker and storyteller. He recently wrote and directed the first season of The Soyuz Files, a radio play podcast set in an alternate history where the Soviets land on the moon first—it was featured on Planetary Radio, produced by Bill Nye’s Planetary Society. Sub Rosa, a short film he wrote and directed, is currently touring festivals, as is Like Animals, which he edited. The web series God Particles, his producorial debut, won IAWTV Awards for best series and best female lead. He believes strongly in supporting and championing female talent in the film industry and couldn’t be more pleased to continue that work with Cate Scott Campbell on this their fifth project together. Spencer also is a snappy dresser and can recite the narration to The Haunted Mansion as a dramatic monologue.

Gio Castro, Graphic Designer & Illustrator


Gio is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator, and designer who loves to tell cool stories. She has illustrated and designed many different projects for a wide range of clients, including Kadus, Laser Kitten, New Gen, and UCLA’s Queer Youth Empowerment Day. She loves exploring the humor in every day life and seeks to bring it alive in her work.



NYIKO, Composer & Music Supervisor

Nyiko Beguin, better known by his stage name NYIKO, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor based out of Los Angeles, California. He has released several full-length albums and EPs under various projects. MTV News and AV Club recognized NYIKO for his work on the ‘Disney Raps’ web series.
